Data Protocol

How information flows through the Trocador system, from input to storage.

01. Data inputs

An order transmits your name, email, shipping/billing address and payment details at checkout. A secondary data stream is captured automatically — approximate location, browser signature, pages accessed.

02. Processing logic

  • Fulfillment: packing, shipping and tracking your unit.
  • Communication: confirmations, shipping updates, support replies.
  • Optimization: refining the interface and checkout flow.
  • Fraud detection at the transaction layer.

03. External access

Data is not sold. It is exposed only to the vendors required to run the system — payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics providers — each scoped to the minimum required.

04. Session tokens

Cookies persist cart state, maintain login sessions, and flag underperforming pages. Disabling them is possible client-side, though checkout function may degrade.

05. Security layer

Checkout traffic is encrypted via SSL. Payment data is processed entirely by PCI-DSS-compliant partners; full card numbers are never stored on internal systems.

06. User controls

Access, correction or deletion of held personal data may be requested at any time. Marketing transmissions include an opt-out link in every message.
